Privacy Policy for iToilet

Last updated: August 13, 2026

iToilet helps users find nearby public toilets and build walking routes to them. This policy covers both apps — iOS and Android. Neither has accounts, and nothing done in the app is tied to a person's identity.

What data the app uses

How this data is used

Location is used only to:

Address input is used only to search for a place the user chose.

Granting location is optional. Without it the app still works: search by address, or set the search point with a long press on the map.

What leaves the device

Coordinates and search text are sent only to return results. They are not stored on our side, not linked to an identifier, and not sold or shared for advertising.

What stays on the device

The app does not require account registration.

The app does not intentionally collect personal profiles, contacts, messages, or payment data.

Downloaded toilet data is cached in the app's own storage so that searching the same area again is instant and works without a connection. Recent results are also held briefly in memory. Both go when the app is deleted or its storage is cleared, and neither identifies anyone.

Advertising

The Android app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use an advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit this identifier in your device settings under Google services. For details, see Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

The iOS app contains no advertising and uses no advertising identifier.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information and contains no user-generated content.
